ICYMI: Shooter kills man when testing bullet-proof vest.

Houston police say a man who put on a bulletproof vest at a party has been killed after another man attending the party fired a shot at him. Police are searching for the man who fired the fatal shot early Sunday. Investigators say forensics tests will determine if the gunshot went through the vest or struck an uncovered area. Police believe about six to eight people were attending the party. Houston Homicide Sgt. Mark Hollbrook says while it’s unusual for people to put on body armor and play with guns at a party, “these things happen sometimes.” The name of the victim hasn’t been immediately disclosed.

A 21- year- old fashion designer, Zainab Oyeyemi,  who bit a commercial bus driver and caused him much harm! , was on Wednesday brought before an Ikeja Magistrates ’ Court. The accused , who stays at No. 22, Abule -Iroko St ., in Ogun State, was brought before Magistrate A. A. Fashola on a charge of assault. The Prosecutor , Sgt. Michael Unah, told the court that the accused , a passenger in a commercial bus, committed the offence on Feb . 20, at 11.00 p .m ., at Ajegunle Bus Stop , Lagos State . “ The accused unlawfully assaulted Mr Sunday Ezekweka , a commercial bus driver , by giving him a bite on his hand and thereby caused him harm, ’’ he said. Unah said that the assault followed a disagreement between the driver and the accused person. The prosecutor said that the offence contravened section 173 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State , 2015 (Revised ).
